TL-WR841N is a router which currently provides the best value for its money. For the price of around $20 it gives you 300 megabits per second wireless network performance and great transmission power. It supports IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g and IEEE 802.11n which guarantees that even the most advanced devices you have in your network will work at blazing speeds.

This router will be a good match if you want to setup a simple home or small business wireless network. Please note that it only has 4 Ethernet ports so if you have many devices relying on wired connection it may not work for you.

TL-WR841N may also act as an inexpensive Wi-Fi network extender if you're going to connect it to existing network. Make sure to follow instructions to set it up in extender mode.

It works on 2.4-2.4835GHz frequencies which guarantees great coverage and transmission power. It doesn't support 5GHz frequencies so if your 2.4GHz range is crowded you may need to consider alternatives which support 5GHz. Two antennas on this router allow for great transmission power.

A possible disadvantage is lack of support for 3G or 4G/LTE. This limits this router to home and small business networks which rely on wired internet.

Setup:

Router setup was quite easy. In our case we just had to plug it in and connect it to the computer with Ethernet cable to do initial setup. Please note that you need a computer with network Ethernet port to set it up. Device with Wi-Fi only will not be enough.

For setup you can either use router web interface or support utility on supplied resource CD disk. User interface is simple and intuitive.
